Just curious about how to use the Trinity as a code scanner for all vehicles.
I have a 2008 Ram. Hooked it to my mom's 2007 Caliber and the Trinity wouldn't communicate with the ECM... Also tried it on my Aunt's early 2000's Chevy pickup and, same thing....
Am I supposed to return mine to stock before I can use it as a code reader on something else?
using trinity as a code reader for other vehicles

07 caliber, not sure about that.
the 00 chevy, you need to change vehicle type, options/change vehicle to get it in the correct mode to talk to the GM truck.

What do I do when I get done using the Trinity as a code reader on another vehicle? Do I have to re-input my vehicle information?
