2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee - wont start, bricked???

Post by ipoguy03 »

I am in need of some serious help!!!

I just got the DCX from AnythingAuto.com
I updated it and connected it to the JEEP, it updated the PCM correctly and then nothing.

I first tried to change the tire size and every time I hit apply, it got to 10% and ABS flashed on the Jeep and the InTune said failed to apply.

So then I said, oh well, I tried to apply the 87 Octane tune and it said backing up Original configuration. It had me turn off and on the car.
Got to 99% and then just a black screen with the spinning wheel. then rebooted and said it failed.
It then said it was in recovery Mode and asked if I wanted to apply tune, I said yes and it again had me pick the 87 tune, it went to 100%,
asked me to turn my car off and then off, then it asked me to turn my car off and on again. The it went to the blank screen with just a spinning wheel.

Now it just is in a loop of recovery mode, it keeps saying the tune failed to apply and would I like to apply the original. everytime I hit yes, it says writing
original configuration gets to 100%, asks me to turn my jeep off and on 2xs and then fails. No error code.

What do I do? Even my screen changed from saying "press brake and hit button to start to press Clutch and hit start button."

Attached files.....please help!!!!

when it restores, does it go to 100% pretty quickly (way less than 15-20 minutes)?

Thanks

Yes, the PCM calibration took about 10 minutes but yes the 100% on the restore was quick. Maybe 2mins if that.

Thank you Mike and all the others who worked to get my Jeep back up and running. Overnight was super and plugged back in, vehicle came up and all was ok. Tune applied quickly and complete. Very nice as I can feel the change, even in the shift points.

The only issue i have now is the tire Size will not change. Whenever I try to change, it gets to 10% and the ABS light flashes and says failed to apply.
Is there something i need to do before i change the tire size? Or how do i fix this issue??

Not sure on tire size, we'll have to look into that.

I have the same issue all good on updates and applying the tunes but the tire size gets to 10% and the ABS light flashes and says failed to apply.

my speedo is then off 4-5 km/h

please advise on a fix or patch...

Thank you
