If you have a 2015 dodge of any faction thereof , you will have to buy a new pcm from diablo and a diablo intune dcx at the very least and this will cost you almost 900.00 for 15 HP if you are luck and about 25 ft lbs of torque and these are at the very best you will get , in most cases not even . Now if you happen to have the tuner , its still going to cost you 600.00 or more with shipping etc just to get a new pcm to program , all for 15 hp etc. Its just not worth it. Anyone that would do that is freakin nuts. Maybe 25 hp would justify it . Hell for half that price I can stick a bottle of nitrous on it .
Because your not going to be able to do much else with the programmer on a new 2015 anyway. Those prices are retarded for what you are getting.
2015 Challenger .... ridiculous !
Re: 2015 Challenger .... ridiculous !
Theres more to it than getting horsepower out the box.
If you change the tire size or rear end gears, your vehicle will be in limp mode because the two need to be programmed, The speedometer will be off by several MPH and the only way to correct it is flashing the vehicle.
Turning off items like your top speed limiter or MDS ( 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder mode) cannot be done without having a tuner to flash the vehicle.
Adding modifications to the vehicle, such as long tube headers, nitrous, cams, exhaust, even forced induction Turbo/Supercharger setups cannot be done without a tuner.
Turning off your traction control permanently for the track, adjusting rev limiters, reducing torque management or even eliminated skip-shift all REQUIRE a flash tuner.
Its not all about horsepower, but more about customizing the vehicle for your specific needs. It may not be for everyone, but there is definitely a market for this and our sales numbers show. Its unfortunate that the vehicle manufacturers have started going down the path of higher end encryption, essentially locking you out of tuning the factory PCM with factory software, but this is the future of Chrysler and this is the only way around the barrier currently.

Please, dont add N2O without a tune to pull some timing, I dont want to see your pistons scattered whether you like what we are offering or not
If you want to be angry about this, be mad at Chrysler, we're not the ones who have spent the past 5+ years trying to keep the aftermarket out of the PCM, in fact, its 100% the opposite

Re: 2015 Challenger .... ridiculous !
While I agree with the OP that the Diablosport 93 Octane tune did not seem to do anything 0-60 performance-wise for my 2015 Charger either, neither did my Hemifever tune, nor my K&N CAI or Flowmaster Force II exhaust (yes, custom Hemifever tune was after the above mods). Not sure why this engine/trans combo is so resistant to performance mods. Kind of takes the fun out of the gains I was hoping to incrementally get. Even the Chrysler Scat Pack Stage I and II kits (similar to what I've done) don't claim to add much more than 35 or so hp.
