Looking for advice!

Post by branhama »

I have a 2013 Charger 5.7 with dual Flowmaster cat back exhaust installed. I installed the 91 tune on there and was able to find the option to disable the fuel saver to make the exhaust sound a bit better. Recently I thought maybe it would sound better with the Diablo tune so I went ahead and installed this one but noticed I was unable to find the option to remove the fuel saver or find any way to make it sound like a muscle car instead of a sick old chevy, haha.

If anyone has some suggestions I am wide open. Running an update on my tuner now but would like to know if anyone else has had this issue or suggestions on how to make my exhaust sound meaner.

Thanks!

the option will already be disabled if you disabled it on the last tune and did not restore the backup. As for the sound, not much is going to change from a tune change. The MDS will obviously sound like a 4 cylinder, but thats the only sound change thats noticeable.

For some reason it did change back up. I had a modified mid tune on it prior which had the fuel saver disabled and when I flashed Diablo it is now back on. Do you suppose I could restore the tune to factory then install the Diablo tune and have the option to disable that feature back?
