update adjustable parameters?

Post by mk153smaw »

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander with the 5.7 Hemi.
I am wondering when more parameters will be unlocked for adjustment? For instance: Gear ratio (Gears are finally available!) and EGR delete. The gear ratio is available on the Grand Cherokee (basically a Commander) SRT 8. It is commonly done now to put all the SRT 8 parts on commanders and I wanted to have the same tune options to use.

Coming soon: Nitro 4.10 gears, port and polish heads, custom hood scoop for better cold air management.

If it is like the 05-06 TJ, it does not need to know what gears for the pcm, as its a mechanical setup, we'll have to look into that.

Diablosport: The wk (jeep grand cherokee) is the same platform as the xk ( jeep commander) almost identical actually except for the body. The gears are pcm monitored on the 4wd wk and xk units. There is not a lot of direct support out there for the commanders but the WK platform components are what we use with the 5.7 hemi engines and the SRT8 swappable components. My current XK commander hemi will be getting the 5.7 stroked, supercharged and an i2010 very soon.

i have a 2009 ram 1500 and i'd tuned it a few months back. but when i took it the dealership to get a tuneup the truck doesn't ride the same. so i'd figured that they must've did something to the computer. so tried to adjust the parameters but the intune states that it might need up dates for this truck. so i plugged it into the pc and updated and tried to tune it up again and it still saying the same thing. i even tried to restore it and it still saying that the pcm might need up dates. i even cleared all the updates.
