Hi all,
I have searched high and low looking for a fix to this shudder/fishbite issue with my Jeep GC. Some of you may have heard about the 2011 Jeep's shudder sensation during light acceleration or cruising between 55-70 mph.
I recently purchased an Intune in attempt to get rid of this issue. I've tried practically every feature on the Intune (canned and modifying stock tunes), but still unable to resolve the issue. I "believe" I disabled MDS (as some have recommended) but the truck remains the same. However, one thing I've noticed is I don't have the option to modify the Torque Management. Some believe this is the culprit with 2011 Jeeps....the torque is being reduced. How can I go about evaluating this?
Anyways, if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction to fix this dreaded problem, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance.

OK, thats just a modify stock tune with some throttle boost and MDS off...have you tried one of our performance tunes?

Yes I have. That said, I have not tried the 91 tune due to Jeep recommending to only use 89 or 87. All other tunes I have experimented with.
Do you suggest I try the 91 tune? Just hoping it doesn't cause any ill effects. By chance, can you see anything related to the torque management causing an issue?

My 2012 GC had the same problem. I believe Jeep released a software fix for this problem. You should contact your dealer on this. BTW, my Overland was ok with 89 but way happier with 91.

Yeah, I've heard about '12/'13 models having the TSB fix. However, a majority of the 2011 models still are without a fix or software update. So, at the moment it seems we are left to our one devices....literally. Thanks anyway.jpmelliott wrote:My 2012 GC had the same problem. I believe Jeep released a software fix for this problem.
