Whipple Tuning

Post by brj833 »

I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3L, the truck has KOOKS long tube headers with 1 7/8 inch primaries, a magna flow catback and I have the Diablo InTune. I am about to purchase a whipple supercharger and run 8 PSI. I was curious to see if there were any available tuning MAPS that could work for that setup. If not would the base tune from whipple be okay until I could Dyno tune the vehicle. Also does anyone recommend anywhere that can dyno tune in the central CT area.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

you could return the diablo to stock. then load the Whipple tune. take a backup of the Whipple with the diablo tool. save it on computer. then return the diablo to stock again. then return the Whipple tool to stock. then take a backup of the stock tune with the diablo and send me the Whipple read and the stock read and i can make you a diablo version of the Whipple file as a base file.

hope that makes sense. lol

Yeah I think all that makes sense :punisher: ... I think I may just throw the tune they have in there then get it dyno tuned and set it and forget it. Then possibly sell one of the two tuners and use the other more or less as a code reader. Thank you !
