Which CROM should we use to test the W3 calibration?

Sorry that was just me being spiteful and not helpful at all.
So lets try this,
I bought my tuner in may, since then I've been given a bunch of different tunes for it, some worked for a while, some worked for 5 minutes. And once a tune quits working I cannot try the same tune again or I get the dead pedal instantly.
As far as my truck goes, 2015 F150 3.5 ecoboost XLT (obvious right?) With the sport appearance package, large display, back up camera and sensors, everything else is basically standard i would assume. had around 2,000 miles on it when I first tried the tune, now has 11,000 miles on it, with the same result; works for 5 minutes to 5 hours but always has the dead pedal at the end. On a few of the tunes if i was using cruise control going up a hill, the truck would be really lurchy. As far as elevation, im not sure; At first I was in north dakota and now im in new york. Also sometimes when i tuned the truck it would work, but had absolutely no power, im talking 0-40 in over 10 seconds. I've also never got the racing section of it to work. trying to do a 1/4 mile run or a 0-60 time, with no result. The drag tree doesnt work and the motion start doesnt work. I could go on and on, but time is limited right now.
Hopefully some of this helps, but if you need more info that i can provide, just let me know

False alarm just had to go help him program it back to stock. It lasted for about 24 hours. About 3 warm up cycles and 8 key cycles. Sorry for the false alarm I was just excited to get to try it out because on mine it goes dead instantlyjuice055 wrote:Just programmed my buddy's pickup and it works like a dream!! Matt, is there a tune that we could try, or let us know what the latest one out is. Maybe with the W3 calid it will be different.DiabloMatt wrote:juangorena wrote:Hi , any news ?

unfortunately we don't have and new tunes to try because we believe the problem lies in the checksums and not the calibration itself.

Is that your way of saying the issue is at ford and not in the tunes?
Re: 2015 Eco Boost Dead peddle Info Thread.
If it is a problem on fords end shouldn't we be having problems on the stock tune then?

yes and no... like i posted in the beginning, what we do know is that ford seems to updating this cal id on a steady basis. without explaining how checksums work in great detail. the best way to describe them as they have to do with how the computer "checks over things" if you change anything tune wise, the check sums also have to be modified otherwise the computer freaks out. so we dont have an undated "tune" because the problem does not lie in the tune part itself. we believe the problem has to do with how the tune is written into the tool is the best way we can describe it. and the fact that ford is updating the hell out of this cal id and that we have pretty much confirmed that everyone who has updated to the newest cal id has driven farther before the fail seems to point out that ford is having a similar issue. As to the question about "shouldn't you be having issues with the stock tune". the checksums effect the entire power train. so there might be a checksum issue and it might be causing some very minor thing that you guys are not noticing that ford is trying to fix. but when we load our stuff in it REALLY gets pissed.
that being said... is ANYONE here in this thread having the issue with a TRINITY???? seems that possibly everyone is having the issue with the intune only? can you guys confirm this?
