Hi gang...I know this has been asked a thousand times but is the use of a diablo predator traceable at the dealer? I have a 2004.5 Ram ctd. I have to drop it of today at the dealer for some serious work. I think the turbo is shot and the exhaust manifold is leaking like a mofo. Thanks in advance....

Point blank YES!!!! Key counts are erased every time you program your truck with this unit. Even know the unit is advertised as being "undetectable" it is very easily detectable..

On the 03-05 models, you can add key counts after a reflash by simply turning the key on/off a bunch of times.

2004.5 ctd. K&N intake, muffler delete, isspro gauges(egt, boost and tranny) and my predator. I was jazzed to get my predator....I had to call the tech line a couple of times because my pred had to be updated....tech peeps were great. I have to admit though, I am dissapointed with the pred. I can barely run my truck in tow mode because the egt's get to hot while I'm towing my 5th wheel. I too, have idle issues in all three tunes and the truck runs like ass untill it warms up. I hope that some updates will come out soon to fix these issues...I just dropped my truck of at the dealer so I'm hoping they fix everything no quetions asked, we will see though.......keep your fingers crossed for me!

we shouldn't have to turn the key on and off a bunch of times to get a key count up. this is an issue that should've been resolved before it was released. is diablosport going to pay to have a new ignition lock put in my truck when it wears out from turning the key on and off a bunch of times to get the key count up, i doubt it. i know you guys are busy and can only do so many things at one time, but you fixed this issue for the 7131 how about taking the time to fix it for the 7130 and then you won't have to deal with threads like these anymore.

Im not trying to be a jackhole, I just bought a product that did not nearly deliver the claims it had stated. I could not get away with it in my business. I would be taken to court!!!!!

I was complimenting you and saying diablosport was unable to respond to your pointing out that in fact they did advertise the predator as undetectable! Of course they can argue that they did not use the word "undetectable" but in fact said "leaves no "footprint" or "signature" to be traced by the dealer." IMO it means the same thing!!!

That text was not our text, it seems like the text is for a gasoline powered vehicle as it mentions timing and fuel user adjustable features, something that none of our diesel programmers feature. You have to understand how hard it is for us to police what people put up text wise for our product.
Now that we fixed this issue, a little late i agree, this should not be a concern anymore. We will get to the 7130 shortly.

I downloaded the r14 to get the shift-on-the fly option I bought and have not many problems yet. Now that they have the key count issue taken care of I have to decide what option I will have to give back. I bought both options though...

WAIT!!!! I can hire a day laborer for a day to turn my key on and off!!!
Hmm.. Two years from my last factory flash...... 712 days at least two cranks a day...1412.....stopping at the store, fuel, ect.,ect.,,
