99 v6 mustang converted 02 4.6l 2v

cranks but will not start, im assuming it the pats system. can the scanner bypass it , and if so , will i need to buy any thing else with the scanner. i have the engin wiring harness and computer that was in the car with the engin

You will need to get a custom tune from a CMR Dealer to disable the PATS.

CMR dealer???, i jjsut got a steering column with key and computer from the same car and installed it, but it still cranks but does not start, has fuel psi, hooked up noid lite to injector it did not blink when cranking engin.

1. key
2. ign cylinder
3. computer
4. instrument cluster

ALL FROM THE SAME VEHICLE.

they are all part of the security system. once i got all those together the car started on the first try. this link helped me out a lot.
