If you really want it to shift hard, adding pressure isn't gonna do it. You need to redirect fluid. A real mechanical shift kit is the way to do it. See if Transgo has a kit for your tranny.

Actually I just checked and Transgo does have a kit for the 6L80/6L90. But anyway, if his shifts hard and yours won't, then all I can think of is that there might be a problem with your pump.

I don't recall my Denali ever shifting hard, even with the tuner set to Hard.
