Sorry for the Noob Octane Question

Post by PS90 »

Again, I apologize, since I am sure that this question is asked a lot. Apparently, my search-ability sucks, though.

Until I get a custom tune, I am going to use an Easy Tune. It seems me choices are 87, 91, or 93 octane.

In my area, my gas choices are 87, 89, or 92 octane.

So my question: Am I stuck using 87, since it's the only one that matches? or can I use 92 octane gas on the 91 octane tune?

Thanks a lot. :punisher:

Use the 91 tune and 92 octane gas. You can use more octane than required by the tune, but never less.
