Thanks!!

Post by sldghmr »

Just wanted to say thanks to DiablosportMatt.... took my 2015 Mustang GT w/PP out on it's 1st track day. Course was a 1.7 mile very technical monster. Car has 3 modifications: Ferodo street/strip frnt pads, Steeda CAI (restrictor removed), SW longtube headers, and Diablosport tuning pulling it all together. Everything else bone stock. Took 2 sessions to figure out the Pirelli P-Zeros, but once I did the car hooked and ran great. Able to stick with almost everything in the corners except a wickedly prepared race spec Z3. Also ran great w/an older M3 that was gutted w/lots of suspension work. Able to reel in everyone or leave everyone except for a Porsche 911 Turbo (owner said he was pushing 500hp) on slicks. Car was driven to the track, run hard for two days, and driven home... never threw one CEL. People couldn't believe how well it ran for a 'stock' car 8) Thanks Matt!!

No videos from me... camera mount (old skool headrest stick) was not up to the task of holding on

Looking for other guys that have videos....

Road racing is addictive. Very, very addictive. Like you will seriously consider getting rid of the house and sleeping in a trailer addictive.... It's drag racing against your buddy, except you get to race back thru the pits to the starting line and do it again.....right away... for 20-30min....5 times in day. Yes... I'm hooked :normal: You gotta go and try it once... just once...

Yes, but legal.....and without ONCOMING traffic.
(well most of the time  )
Oh, and not on actual roads... on private race tracks. Virginia International Raceway, Poconos Raceway, Daytona, Sebring. New Jersey Motorsports Park..... lots of them all over the place
