Hotter ignition

Post by jr86211 »

Should I make any adjustments in the predator after installing msd blaster coils? I am running an 07 charger 5.7 w/ CAI, catback, longtubes, Offroad mid pipe, and 93caitune w/ 10% fuel added.

MSD makes blaster coils for the 5.7?

Yeah, you can get them from jegs or rpm outlet.

Thank you, do you know what the output rating on those are? I did do some searching after seeing this post and found them but no one says what they put out and on another forum I was told they don't put out much over stock.

Thanks again.

They are not much better than the stock coils from what I have heard. The GenII's should be out before too long and they should be a bit better.

I want get them and switch over to the dual COP vs the coilon plug + plug wire setup I am now running.
