no i was refering to his tire size issue. there was a glitch where if you changed the tire size in the tool it would kill the throttle. completly unrelated to the 15 dead peddle. :(

Can you tell us what was wrong? That you had to fix that was specific to just our trucks? Why were we special?

well...its all back to what i mentioned earlier where we figured it was a check sum issue. our tools auto calculate the check sums for us once we set them up to do so. completely unknown to us, starting in 2015 ford added a second set of check sums specifically for the throttle. so it took us a long time to figure out what was happening because we thought it was a problem with the main check sums. so we kept trying to fix something that was not broken in the first place. then Brian found the peddle ones in the binary. we made a tune where there check sums were manually done and it fixed it. so now we have to implement all this new data into the to tool and build and update. the reason that it only effected the once cal id is weird. it has something to do with the tune not changing other cal id's to piss them off enough. idk that part. but it does explain why we have two random dead 2.7's. so once we figure out the auto check sum it should fix all of them. :)

i hope that explains it.

What about the fix for the tire size? I reported this issue in June and a fix has yet to be found, yet Diablosport continues to market & sell with this capability.

THAT i agree with you on. we cannot change axle or tire size on a 15. absolutely no one else can either for what its worth. im not in marketing and sales so i don't really know why they say we can. i know we are working on it. so maybe they don't want to change it yet? idk.

The hypertech programmer can change the tire size which is what I should have bought. No I'm stuck with a useless paper weight.

no.. all they have for 2015's it is a speedo calibrator.. http://www.hypertech.com/products-speed ... rator.aspx

that does NOT tune the truck's PCM.. all it does is change the speedo gauge cluster/BCM, not the engine tune.. same thing with their "inline speedo calibrator" module that's also listed on that page... it does not tune the PCM...

totally different functionality from a true programmer and tuning the PCM...

Yes that is exactly the answer I wanted to thank you Diablo Matt. As for the rest of it, other guys who have used your tuner are more than willing to hold on and wait for the proper fix you guys are making for us. We appreciate all the help you put into it.
