Predator Fan Settings w/ 180* T-Stat
Just trying to get a uniform answer on this question. I live in Texas and getting ready to install the T-Stat since I just purchased the Predator. Does anybody know what all the fan settings should be with this T-Stat? I am running version 8r20 on the Predator which I believe puts the fan settings back to stock if I'm correct. Any help on this is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks again.

RE: Predator Fan Settings w/ 180* T-Stat
Everyone has their own preferences, ther is no right or wrong.
Several people have posted their personal preferences here, and on LXforums.
In general, if the t-stat is cooler by 20*, you'll want to lower the fan settings by about the same.
Thanks

You may have read my reply to a similar thread elsewhere, but FWIW, I'll repeat it here. My 180*F t-stat has coolant temperature hovering around 185*F.
DS reports that the temperature range from fan-on to fan-off is 10*F. So, to allow the low speed fan to actual shut off sometime, (to prevent the manytime reported continuously running fan) I set my LS temperature at 197*F and the MS and HS temperatures at 207*F. I witnessed my fan shutting off at 189*F at engine idle after it had been up to 204*F.
"It works for me!"
