Why is it taking so long to fix this? I emailed about this almost 3 weeks ago now, didn't even get a response when I asked for an update. And this isn't even the only problem with this thing. Freezes when you try to use options. BS to pay 400 bucks for something that functions like a $10 dollar toy. $400 is ALOT of money, this should have been fixed already.

I've reported a problem almost a month ago, still not corrected. With so many pissed-off customers, it boggles my mind how they find it more important to go to Vegas to 'sell something they aren't supporting' than it's is to 'support something they already sold'!

My understanding is this is a new product. The product works as far as the canned tunes go and they are able to sell and make happy customers. I also understand this is a new product. New products have bugs. This bug has been reported and is being worked on. The situation could always be worse.

Essentially you've got two options. You can be upset and bitch about it while you wait or you can have patience and wait. Choice is yours

Over a month after release some 'standard' options still cause lockup, vehicles 'dead in the water', no users manual ... patience runs short after investing $400 for something that still has this many problems. One would expect that with a "$10 toy"!

You don't like it, then return it. I personally have no problems with mine other than not being able to read a custom TCM tune from Lew. Like I said before you can bitch and moan about it all you want. Not going to solve anything...

Shouldn't be releasing something that has so many problems. Remember back when things were actually tested before they were released? Your response is exactly why this kind of thing is happening. Release something, and offer NO support. I mean the damn thing doesn't even have a user manual. ITS 400 DAMN BUCKS. If that doesnt mean anything to you, then you have problems

Wow! Still nothing?

All I can picture is the guys at Diablosport reclined back in their chairs, drinking a beer and counting all their cash.

I don't mind waiting but I don't like being lied to, if it is not a quick fix then say so.

Let us know(believe) work is being done to correct this.

Be honest and give us updates.

I'm pretty sure we've all been more than patient. This thread stated a MONTH ago, and the first issue was the first day someone got this. For $400, we shouldn't have to wait for over a month to use one of the two main features with this. You guys should either be giving a partial refund to make it a lower cost purchase, or upgrading everyone who currently has this to your other tool, considerating that one works. This is a garbage way to treat high paying customers.

I am starting to think I might send this i2 back to Amazon and get the old version. If I am correct the old model will recognize the custom trans tune? Can anyone confirm that?

It sure wouldn't be asking too much to extend the warranty to a point starting when these problems are 'updated away' as some of us can't (or won't) use the tool until this update happens. A better approach might be to treat all of us 'problem-finding beta testers' the same as the original beta testers.

Thank you.

Yes it can, but the price on those if you can even find one for sale is gonna be sky high I would imagine. Those are much easier to use to. And from what I understand, you can actually see all the tunes you have loaded onto it, and delete them if you want. Can't do that on the new one.
