Throttle Boost, What exactly does it do?

Post by benningtonr »

I would like to increase throttle response, i am assuming that is what TB (throttle boost) does.
What is a good safe number or is it all a matter of individual feel. will 20% hurt anything?
And what exactly is this parameter changing, adding fuel like a holly carburetor accelerator pump or adjusting the throttle position since it is throttle by wire.

Thank you

20% is a good start. you can adjust as you wish. what is does it make the gas pedal more sensitive. so for example. 20% pedal is really 40% throttle (depending on where its set of course)

okay so it plays with the position and not the fuel curve. cool, thanks i have it at 5% but I have not driven it yet, just set it during a break.

Thanks
