Not able to Update, Register and to load crom

Post by [email protected] »

I bought i2 for My Jeep wrangler 2013 3.6, and i have followed all instruction but no luck to update. i am trying for a week but no luck.

when i connect the tool with my PC it says : A Trinity Was found on COM12, and then when i update it says " DS Downloader is configured for Trinity, but the detected tool dose not appear to support the XML RPC protocol.

I have tried windows XP, 7, 8 and windows 10, and tried different USB ports, Uninstalled then reinstalled the DS and the drivers, but no luck.
DS tool info :
Auto Connect is ENABLED.
Legacy Connect is DISABLED.
A tool was found on COM12 at 57600 baud.
XML RPC commands are NOT available.
Server:

and not able to register as well it always say invalid serial number.

Please HELP :lamer: :lamer:

what instructions are you looking at?

i2 does not use dsdl, the updater lives on the i2 drive on your pc in the updater folder :)

Windows 10 didn't assign a drive letter to my new i2 initially, although it did automatically install the drivers. I suggest you uninstall any drivers you installed for it since newer versions of Windows should have the drivers already. After that, you may want to manually assign a driver letter like I ended up doing. Here's some instructions I found that will help you assign a drive letter. Instructions are for XP, but it's the same procedure in newer Windows versions.
