i2 stuck

Post by dadaDaveed »

My new i2 won't enter either the Tune Vehicle of Scan Tool menu… just endless progress wheel. I just spent 20 minutes on hold for tech support and got hung up on… ARGH!! :x

I got through to tech support after another 15 minute wait. Had to reset the registry. After that I could get back into the Tune Vehicle Menu. I was told to use the Advanced Tune option, as the Easy Tune is still buggy. I chose the Diablo (93 Octane) tune and changed the tire size and throttle boost parameters. I applied the tune and it failed again. Fortunately, it didn't get stuck when I started over. I chose the Diablo tune again and this time only adjusted the throttle boost. It applied successfully this time. I suspect the tire size parameters were causing the problem. I'm close enough to stock tire size, so I'm going to leave that alone.

Could you post your info.xml? Has the tool been updated recently? This should have been resolved already.

This is sort of resolved. I've successfully installed the Diablo 93 octane tune, but I'm avoiding the tire size adjustment… that seems to cause problems. The updater tells me there's no updates available. My tire diameter is only 2% larger than stock, so it's not a big deal. The xml is attached.

At the moment, I'm waiting for a Hemifever custom tune… but Sean at Hemifever says he's waiting on Diablo to add my PCM base maps to the tuning server.
