Jeep Wrangler JK 2015 Tuning failure

I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK and I bought the i2 tool for it. The two things I wanted to do is first to set up the tires to the new ones I installed and install a performance tune. I have successfully attempted to change the size of the wires through Advanced Tune --> Quick Adjust --> Tire Size
But I faced some problems attempting to install the performance tune. I attempt to install the 93 Octane Tune through both the easy tune and the advanced tune, but in both I faces problems which seems to be a technical error from the tool itself.
Using the advanced tune:
1) Chose 93 octane tune
2) Started reading back up
3) Reading back up failed
4) Doesn't put the tool in recovery mode

Using the easy tune:
1) Chose 93 octane tune
2) asked me for tire size, gear ratio and speed limiter
3) started reading back up
4) Reading back successful
5) PCM: exporting file
6) Starting writing tune
7) Writing tune got to 100%
Tune writing failed
9) Puts the tool in recovery mode

I don't know how it's possible that the two ways of tuning can lead to a different error. Is the tool not compatible with the Jeep Wrangler 2015?

They haven't cracked the stock 2015 pcm yet, you have to get a modified one for the tuner to work.

Yet? Does that mean if I wait I wouldn't have to spend that huge amount of money on the modified PCM and that they will update the i2 for the new 2015 models?

That was a poor choice of wording on my end, I have no idea if they are still actively trying or have given up completely.
