Trinity Freezing When I Try to Change Parameters

Tunes loaded fine, but when I go to set tire size, the screen freezes. Can't get past the first page to change anything at all. After searching the forum and google, I'm finding that screen freeze ups have been a long-standing issue. I'm driving a 2014 Ram 1500.

1r13g was a problem, going back to the current 1r13f should fix it.

I've tried multiple times to change to the 1r13f version. Every time I go through the whole process it still shows 1r13g as the version on the tool. I went to the downloads section of the website and downloaded 1r13f and saved it to my computer, opened up dsdownloader, plugged in the tool and let dsdl recognize it, clicked update tool, selected the 1r13f file, enter it and the dialog box stating it is sending file to tool comes up, wait for it to finish loading, then it tells me to select vehicle so it can update that. After the whole process is completed, I check the information on the tool and it still has 1r13g on it. I've tried this sequence six or seven times with the same results.

OK, you may need to load the full 1r13 crom then load 1r13f.

OK, that worked. I now have 1r13f on the tool, Now I'm going out to load a tune on the truck and see if I can get access to changes of tire size, shift firmness, speed limiter, etc.
