Hi.
This is more of a question of curiosity than anything (not meant as a complaint) - from what I understand, the truck's odometer is not associated with the ECU for 2015's that need a modified ECU to use the tuner.
So why then do you guys require us to give you a mileage reading when ordering the modified one?
Thanks.
Mileage when buying a modified ECU?

Re: Mileage when buying a modified ECU?
I thought that was odd too. I ordered my stuff ecu/programmer with a supercharger kit. It took a little over a month to get the stuff and when I ordered it I gave them the mileage plus 100 miles since I drive my jeep about 50 miles a week and they said I would get my kit in 2 to 3 weeks. When I put the new ecu in I wondered what the mileage would be and it stayed right where it was from the old ecu

That's good to know. Thanks.redvapor01 wrote:I thought that was odd too. I ordered my stuff ecu/programmer with a supercharger kit. I just can't figure out why they need the mileage.
I wasn't smart enough to think ahead like you were, and I still haven't gotten around to changing the ECU (I might not until spring, since we have a few feet of snow here, and the tuner won't be utilized much until then anyway), so by then the mileage that I gave them and my truck's odometer reading are going to be WAY off.
