Updating InTune

Post by toyoman »

Maybe a dumb question but do I have to return to the factory tune in order to update the device? I have the LTFTs and PE dialed right in and it would be nice to not have to do it again but I want to keep it up to date.

no you do not..

but if everything is working fine, no reason to update it.. updates are generally just to add support for new vehicles.. as the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" lol

Thanks for the info! The other thing I have in mind is buying a 2016 Sierra soon and I'm hoping this tuner will continue to work on the new model.
