intune update/Super long wait time/white screen

Post by jsuchil »

So for the last 2 days i was able to use the 87 tune and modify from there without an issue. i bought a custom tune from jay greene and then dragged it into the tune folder from the tuner, when i went to install the new custom tune it gave me an error. quickly i unplugged it and tried again only to get a CHEKING DISK.... waited for about 5 minutes and then it froze. i plugged the intune i1000 on too my computer and then it started a update, first time it took about 1 hr then i unplugged it and took it outside to try on the truck and same. checking disk. second time i downloaded an update the intune updater was downloading and waited another 2 hours and nothing. then the screen went white. so i thought meaby it was done and went out and nothing. checking disk. now i have had the updater downloading for about another 2 hours with no GO. the intune screen seems to be fine, has the loading screen frozen on the little circle, which seems to move around every now and then. As for the updater, well it says don't unplug it will reboot automatically. My question is why was it working fine earlier without having to get a custom tune and a download? because when i was adding the 87 tune from the intune it did not ask for a check disk or a update until i tried that custom tune. just a LITTLE worried here, as for the update... HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DOWNLOAD LOL???

Did the best describing my problem, hope to hear good news soon.

My vehicle is a 2010 dodge ram 5.7 4x4.

SO update: i was able to install update i supposed. now the current problem in hand is "the current firmware revision (1r04I) cannot be replaces by the firmware package within intune-1t03uh(1).itf" following a "Failed to install the intune-1t03uh(1).tf message.

i can't seem to restore the original back up to my 2010 ram, not to mention now i get a message saying my truck is not supported by the device, when clearly i was able to use the intunes tunes without any issues yesterday. i really need help resolving this issue.

UPDATE again:

APPLICATION 1r03a
DCX Tune Db 1r01b MISSING
FORD Tune Db 1r01g MISSING
GM Tune Db 1r01m MISSING
DCX PID Db 1r01a
FORD PID Db 1r01a
GM PID Db 1r01a MISSING
DTC Db 1r01a
VIN Db 1r01b
Info Db 1r01b

i noticed this on my firmware info, i guess its missing some type of files. thing is i never deleted anything on the intune other than the custom tune.

EDIT: i got the missing files installed now and i seem to have all the stock tunes and the custom tune on the intune, but since the update now every time i try to do a different tune i get the PCM has already been tuned by a DS product, so now what do i do at this point?? the PCM was tuned by the same intune device. i'm pretty tired of fiddling around with this for today, hope to hear some good news tomorrow. :drivingbad: :punisher: :crashing: :normal: :lamer:

Id suggest getting that tool sent in for us to check it out, as it does not seem to be happy.
