connect the tool to a pc and open the dsdownloader, then when it connects to the tool it will present a calibration updater button, click that and it will download the file to the tool for you.
Thanks

Ok I think I can shed some light on people having this issue. Make sure you close the DSDownloader programmer and reopen it. I was walking back and forth to the car. Only after I closed and reopened the program the calibration update tab appeared.mikel wrote:connect the tool to a pc and open the dsdownloader, then when it connects to the tool it will present a calibration updater button, click that and it will download the file to the tool for you.

Thank for the response
Re: "Update your vehicle to a supported CAL ID"
I've run into a similar issue after updating Trinity firmware. My vehicle is a 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT 6.1L
Using DSDL 2.2.2.11 to update firmware and updated to 1R13h. The update completed successfully.
Changed vehicle type to 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT 6.1L
Attempted loading a canned tune (Perf CAI 91oct) back to the vehicle and resulted with message
"CalID 04692392AD Not supported"
Called Diablosport support line and the tech advised changing vehicle type to 2010 Dodge Charger SRT 6.1L
The canned tune then loaded successfully.
So far , so good, but...
Checking Last Tune Written shows:
Perf CAI 91oct
PCM: 05030232AF
TCM: Not Saved
I don't see a "calibration updater button" after re-connecting the Trinity to a PC via DSDL 2.2.2.11 as mentioned in the above posts.
My concern:
I will be upgrading to the MOPAR Performance TCM (MTCM) soon and I want to be sure there will be no problems caused by not having the original TCM firmware image saved.
Will I be able to return to stock tuning if/when I need to without having a saved image of the stock TCM firmware in the tool?
I always reload stock tune for dealer service and (very importantly) for state smog inspections.
Thanks

Re: "Update your vehicle to a supported CAL ID"
Yes i did, that's when i was told to select 2010 Charger SRT as vehicle type.
Re: "Update your vehicle to a supported CAL ID"
So, was that not the correct thing to do?
Can the trinity be returned to the previous firmware rev? There was no problem prior to the upgrade to 1R13h.

I was under the impression that you had resolved this, if it is working there is no need to change anything.

Re: "Update your vehicle to a supported CAL ID"
there's no need at all to restore stock tune for vehicle emissions inspections.. no reason to..

Re: "Update your vehicle to a supported CAL ID"
Still need to return to stock tune:
- for dealer service
- pull the tuner to sell the car minus all mods
But that wasn't the only question, see above. Still would like your answers to those.
I suggest that info be added to your downloads page to clearly state when/why a user would want or need to update firmware.
That would save others some time and trouble since there is no need for most to do periodic updates.
