still on hold?

Post by eddiemanG213 »

I've been on hold since 230! and i know your time is important. BUT so is mine. It's 415 you guys should now be closed. But i'm first in que. So did everyone just leave with someone on hold? When a person picked up 3 different times? Could you have just pushed me off to the next person hoping they would pick up and everyone just walked out? My car doesn't start. What if i have an emergency. What if my pregnant wife is going into labor and i can't take her cause you're time is more important than helping the last customer in que? WHAT IF SHE LOSES THE BABY GOD FORBID.!! i'm exaggerating but it's all possible. (knock on wood saying a prayer) My car won't start and i have no idea why. the dcx is in recovery mode, but i haven't touched it for 2 months since my cars been in the body shop. And it was working fine before it went it. 2139998136 [email protected] someone contact me right away. LITERALLY the worst and longest i've waiting for customer service and this includes times back when AT&T was around.

If it was working fine before it went into the shop then you need to figure out what they did to the vehicle to cause this issue. Did they flash the vehicle? What vehicle do you have? What led up to it being in recovery mode; were you trying to tune it after getting it back from the shop?

iT went into a body shop for 2 months. just got it back on Saturday. Tried to install the normal 87 octane tune, and then the cable from the dcx to the car popped out. I might have actually hit it, but by the time i realized it, it was already in recovery

the device will attempt to recovery until it gets the stock tune back in, be sure the battery is fully charged.

the stock tune? i didn't change anything. The only thing i did was remove the tune and put the car to stock before i took it to the body shop, incase they had to take it to the dealer. My suspension was messed up in an accident. So, when i got the car back after 2 months. i plugged it in, and tried to put in the 87octane tune and i had accidentally unplugged it, mid tune or towards the end or something. but it goes into a repetitive action of trying to do some calibration, erroring out and do you want to continue in recovery mode. I tried updating the tuner but not sure how to do that via computer.

I'm not sure that you understood what I was trying to explain to you.

If the plug was pulled during the update process, the tool goes into recovery mode. Recovery mode initializes when the tune process fails and the tool tries to force the file onto the vehicle again for you. What i was trying to explain, is that you need to let the process finish to get it out of recovery mode. If the tool completes, successfully, the tool will come out of recovery mode and allow the vehicle to start.

i would like a copy of the info.xml file posted to this thread, from the intune drive in your computer directory.

As for our options, from here, if the tool will not recover the vehicle:

1. take the vehicle to the dealership to be flashed back to factory settings. Once this is complete, we can reset the tool for you and begin tuning again.
2. pull the PCM out of the vehicle and send us the PCM as well as the Intune DCX to us to be recovered.

If you would like to send us the PCM, please email us a copy of the receipt as well as the following info to [email protected]

First/Last name
Shipping Address
Phone number
Email Address
Vin Number
Mileage
Year/Make/Model

Once we have this info, we can create an overnight shipping label, to have the PCM and Tool overnighted here, repaired, and shipped back ready to go.
