You are welcome MMueller, and thank you for the Hemifever link. I had seen it before, but had forgotten about it.MMueller wrote:Tomkat2800 that you for your post. It is appreciated and I agree, and am keeping any tunes to a minimum until I can get to a track and test. Ill see how it runs and adjust from there. HemiFever has been helpful also although I have not loaded his recommended tune as yet. He has a Web site that promotes new tunes for Hemi's.

What engine? My 3.6 is getting 14 second 1/4 miles and mid/high 5s in 0-60 on custom 91 tune.I'm still dialing in the trinity and run custom tunes. Only parameters i've touched is tire size, the rest I leave alone. Once I find a good place to get 93 without ethanol i should see signifigant results.MMueller wrote:I am at an NHRA event in Tucson, Az and 1st run ran a 14.13 at 102.09 MPH 1/4 mile. 0=60 ft. time was still fairly slow, but manageable. Next three runs were in the left lane and I spun the tires up to 40 ft on one of them.
Tried to launch from the Super Scat Pack, tires at 26lbs, RPM set at 2750 and spun the tires.
I read that using the Launch option at 1750 produces better results. So I am going to try that! It is becoming an announce trying different things to get the Challenger to get nice 0-60 times and stay within the 14.10 ET.
I would be happy to just have some consistency at the moment.
I have heard from many that the Super Scat Pack Launch option does not help and it is better to use the break. At the end of the day I may just launch with no RPM's built and have the car manage through the 60 ft.
I have changed the following settings back to the original state on the Diablo Trinity:
1. No Wide Open Throttle (WOT) settings.
2. Have the Throttle (Boost) set at 10. Was set at 18.
3. Nothing else exists within the Trinity to help or in fact get more HP.
1. Keeping the tires at 28 lbs. of pressure.
I have also started using the following tire grip solvent that helps make the tires softer, it helped so I am passing it on.
Its called: Formula V Tire Traction Treatment. I use a spray bottle for it, others with slicks use a mop.
At any rate, I know that recommendations have been given from a lot of you and I appreciate that. But I have to ask for simple solutions if there are any, and I am not suggesting there are. But I ran a 13.71 at 104.8 MPH just five runs ago, no where near it currently. Crazy!!!
Thanks.
My only 1/4 mile run was 14.79, only thing done performance wise is r2c cai and of course trinity with overkill tunes. Going to run 91 for a while and send it back for tweaking. Only thing im looking at next is 180 degree t stat and possibly flowmaster american thunder system but a lot of v6 guys are reporting low end loss with aftermarket exhaust.MMueller wrote:Wow, that is a good time for the V6.
I have the 2015 Challenger with the 5.7L Hemi.
The following are additions that I have added:
1. Flowmaster Outlaw Series exhaust
2. DiabloSport Tuner and PCM
3. K&N Cold Air intake
4. Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer
5. Mickey Thompson E Street R (305/45/18)
Best E.T. 13.78 at 104 MPH, two weeks ago ran a 13.84 at 103 MPH
But two other runs at: 14.01 and 14.02
Some consistency but not as fast as others have run with the modifications that I have had.
Appreciate your feedback it is good to hear how others have progressed, especially when a V6 is making good times. That is impressive.
Thanks again. Let me know how you progress and what your power adders have been or will be, always interested in that.
Nice! I look forward to see the results! If you could also say what mods to the tune you did, that would help!MMueller wrote:Nice times. Went on the edge and purchased a new Stock 6.1L Intake with Fore Innovations Fuel Rails , Kooks long tube headers and the power gain is pretty impressive. Not had it at the track yet. I'll let every one know how she does.
