7170 won't restore back-up or change tune

I tried to change the tune from towing to 100 hoss xtreem! Predator says a tune is already installed and won't rewrite. I tried to restore the original back-up but it balked on that too. I checked the vin...it says ff.ff.fff.ff.ff.ff......... I checked the last tune written -it said original backup.
So, I tried to install 60 hp tune. It says again there is already a tune and does not support tuning with another. It is late Saturday and I'm going out of town tomorrow morning. I can make the trip, but I would like to change that tune. Any help would rate you HERO status!

easy fix, please give us a call tomorrow with the tool powered up in the truck and we'll force it to restore and you can retune from there.
