Another Problem...

Post by therussian »

After doing everything correctly and the I2 finished uploading the tune into my car, NOTHING HAPPENED. No power gain, no throttle boost, no rev limit removed. I'm highly considering to return this product. Seriously what the hell.

what are you basing this on?

drive it for a while and then restore the tune and see if you feel a difference.

What tune did you load?

I'm basing it off that I can't rev my car, in gear and neutral, past 5900 rpms and I set it to 6600.

I used the 91 octane tune as well as a custom tune.

I've loaded the backup tune and reloaded the custom tune twice and felt no difference in power.

I dont think the neutral limiter will go that high, and for good reason :)

The limiter in D does not change the shift point, so if you are leaving it in D it will still shift where it is supposed to, you can use autostick to hold it to a higher rpm to take advantage of the rev limit increase if desired.

Where did the custom tune come from?

well it manual so no drive haha

Its the modified parameters on the i2, but I did some research lately and apparently the i2 doesn't do much, if anything, for manual cars.

It would have helped greatly had you been a little more specific that the throttle didn't work rather than making it sound like some kind of rant that the tun didn't make any power. We know the tunes make power and they 99% of the time make exactly the power we advertise...

Drop this on the i2 drive in the root directory (not the tunes folder) and it will load. Then go and load the custom tune.
