Sport Button?

Post by 6Banger »

I just installed the 91 tune on my 15 RalleyE. What changes on my sport button with this tune? Another question, I have a CAI and Magnaflow straight through exhaust. Can I run the 93 tune full time, even though 93 is not readily available in my area? Mostly just 91.

Sport button....I'm assuming you mean enabling SPORT mode on the car. Enabling the SPORT mode is not something that you can "turn on" with a Diablosport programmer. There is another device on the market that can enable the SPORT mode functionality on your car. I don't want to get into trouble mentioning the name of the product but it is called a Tazer made by Zautomotive. I have one and it is a nice little gadget to have.

In regards to running 93 tune without the availability of a continual supply of 93 octane to use, DON'T. From what I've read on these forums and from the opinion of the Diablo gurus you can run a lower tune running a high octane fuel, but you should never run a higher tune running a lower octane fuel.

Stick with the 91 tune and get yourself a tazer and you'll enjoy the snap in your 6Banger when you enable SPORT Mode. You'll also enjoy the SRT performance pages you will be able to enable as well with the Tazer.
