2 issues...

Post by Evilrt »

First, thanks to Mike for clearing up the confusion and telling me, and a few others, how to modify all parameters. We were all too lazy to read the directions. BUT, there are 2 issues when I'm trying to modify some things on a 09 Charger 5.7 with 91 cai tune.

#1 the tuner will not save tire size. Not that much of a big deal.
#2 I see the option to turn off mds. I select "off", but it always defaults to "on"! I keep selecting off. There is an asterisk after mds (mds*) and when I go in, the asterisk is always ON! I drive and I can hear the mds kicking in. Because I have a 2009, I don't have an indicator, but I can hear it. There is a delay when I mash the pedal and get a whoosh, then jolt feeling. PLEASE help me resolve this problem.

I've tried changing to Diablo tune with the same parameters and mds in always on. Besides that, everything seems to take. All I've changed were speed limiter, shift firmness, reset tcm adaption, throttle boost, and mds. Mds is the most important, one big reasons why I bought this.

On tire size, go to height ininches, and change it from 28 or whatever is stock to say, 30, then apply it.
Despite it failing, go back to the height in inches param, and if it shows 30, your change took, and its a false failure from the tool ;)

The MDS is odd, load the tune with MDS off, then post up the last tune written file from the intune drive.

I've tried to load the tune before and after with the adjusted parameters and the mds is never set to "off".

Alright, it's been over a week and there's nothing but silence. Will you at least acknowledge that you've read this and that there is a problem?

please explain how it shows "off" in the file, yet set to "on" in the menu... And how it can hear it engaging. There is no difference in the ride when it's supposedly off. I can hear and feel it.
