'14 Charger 5.7 hemi awd rev limit adj parameter

Whenever I try to raise the rev limit on my 2014 Charger AWD 5.7 Hemi, the engine stumbles and dies, no throttle response, after successful tune and key cycling.
Nothing has been changed except the adjustable parameter: rev limit.
Anyone else have this issue?

is this the rev limit in neutral specifically?

No. The neutral limit is 4g.
