yes the tool will watch trim but the tune has already compinsated so the leak if it has one. the best thing to do is install a stock cai and a stock tune and see if the code comes back. if not then you know the cai is the issue. if it comes back on you know you have another issue elsewherekelbypep wrote:well a vacuum leak could be an issue can I monitor my fuel trim?

with the stock cai and the stock tune in it. you will want to watch the st and lt fuel trims.
if they are more than +/- 10% you have an issue

St is the gauge name in the monitor mode? I cant figure out what this is under on my trinity for the fact I cant find my manual what are the gauges called because it doesn't say fuel trim anywhere
Re: 2010 Mustang V6 CAI Running Lean Code
This is with the new tune and my cai still on... sadly I cant find my stock parts at the moment. was the tune made to switch the engine computer I'm getting a new code with it saying that the code is normal for performance vehicles and that it has made the engine computer ROM... just trying to get all the lights off...

I haven't been able to get back in a while been busy. The last tune that you wrote drowned the car it had no power it felt like. It bogged down when you romped it. So I put the stock box back on for now. I liked how the car ran the tune before the last tune you wrote. I also checked the plugs and it is running more rich not lean at all what could be the problem? It is a lean code but its not running lean and the stock box and stock tune everything is right where you said it should be.
Also is there a way to get an adjustment on gears ratio I got 3.73s and it wont go to it when I try to adjust it.
Thanks,
Kelby
