Mercury grand marquis 2008 speedometer +5%

Hi!
I used the advance tune 93octane, but now the speedometer shows +5%. It used to be exact on spot, compaired to GPS. How can i fix this?

Here in Sweden we have 95octane, is it possible to tune the car to 95?

did you make any adjustments to the tune for axle ratio or tire size?

Please post the files from the tunes folder on the i2 drive.

Your 95 octane is rated differently but is very similar to our 91 octane fuel.

First time i changed the tune to 91octane, speed limiter OFF and nothing else. This time i changed to 91 octane, speed limiter OFF and tire size 225/60 - 16. And the speedometer are still +5%.

so you are saying the speedo WAS accurate untill you loaded the diablo tune?

Yes! Very accurate! At 50km/h the GPS are 50km/h, at 110km/h the GPS are 109km/h.
After the tune at 50km/h the GPS shows 47km/h and at 110km/h the GPS shows 104km/h.

I did try to install the speedofix file today, but i couldnt see it on the i2. I putt the file in same folder as the other tunes. Is it wrong folder?

yes, the file should not go in a folder, copy it to the root of the i2 drive.
