Create "Original" Backup per instructions not working...

Question/Issue:
Bought the car used, just got my Trinity in the mail today, brand new, unmarried. I go performance -> Diablo tune -> original backup and the only option is to "restore factory tune and reset device"? I have never flashed a tune nor does the device even have a tune stored, just wanted to create a backup before I started logging/ doing ANYTHING. What steps am I missing? Could this be that the previous owner flashed a tune and I was not told?

select a tune then the tool will read and save the current backup file.
