Power Draw??

I installed the trinity on my 2012 Charger on Monday evening. Drove the car on Tuesday with no issues. On Wednesday morning I came out to go to work and the battery was too low to start the car. I had the Trinity in monitor mode on Tuesday, and left it that way when I got home in the evening thinking it would go to sleep and not draw power. Is that correct? Or does the trinity keep drawing power looking for a signal? Does it have to be disconnected from the OBDII port every night?

On the Challenger, go to options/change sleep monitor and set it to 0 seconds.
