Disappointing Purchase and RMA Process: no comunications

Post by mattechperf »

After my InTune's screen was broken and unresponsive, I submitted an RMA request for repair. I was informed that I could upgrade to the new I2 and receive a credit for my old unit.

My old unit was shipped and received at the Powerteq Utah facility on 4/7/2016. Since then, I have sent numerous to RMAstatus@diablosport, Mike Litsch, and Tucker Wesler. Phone calls have dead ended into voicemails with no responses. A telephone message today was at least responded to by Garrett C Kabinoff who only informed me that he can't do anything but forward my info to the same RMA department, which has been unresponsive.

Going on two weeks, I have an inoperable vehicle.
Diablosport/Powereq/Holley has my property and my credit card information.
I have absolutely no information as to the status of my situation other than confirmation (from FedEx tracking) that my property has been received at their Utah facility.

I have been a continued customer since 2001 and have happily recommended Diablosport products to countless consumers over the years.
I understand the logistics of this process, however the lack of communications is absolutely unacceptable from any company, let alone one of this stature.

Other industry options are available and are being seriously considered.
I expect an update immediately.

The RMA # is 122109.
The old item was returned at your request on April 4th. It was received on April 7th.

The vehicle is inoperable in regards to the tune being in the process of adjusting, not due to failure of the product. The car stalls at stoplights and has a runaway throttle tendency. Again, just part of the refining process.
However, that has been on hold for weeks now and my temporary registration has since expired before emissions certification.

Thank you for your effort Mike.

As I said, I've always been satisfied with all the different Diablosport products I've ever used.
I hope there are efforts in place to improve the business mechanisms behind the scenes.

Unfortunately this is an issue entirely on us, we are moving our offices and have moved our rma location to our corporate HQ in Ogden Utah, and its been a little bit hectic, but we're getting through it and it will not be an issue for much longer, sorry again that you got tied up in it.

Thanks
