Hi
I have an 05 Mustang GT automatic
C&L cold air intake
Predator U7140 9r09
I am seeking a firm shift 93 octane tune for day to day driving that will play nice with the C&L, but i need to be able to load the tune onto a standard predator NOT the C&L predator
My only desire is to avoid throttle lag and avoid running lean codes. I like responsive throttle.
can you help me out?
I ran U7140 Firm Shift 93 octane it felt good except 2 issues threw running lean codes and was sometimes accelerating without me pressing gas if AC is on, and occasionally just idling erratically. But overall feel and performance was good.
I'm currently running the 85mm 93 octane (aggressive shift?) it feels mediocre and unresponsive, seems to idle erratically when i have AC on but ive only ran it for a day, no codes yet.
I appreciate the help!

load the 93 octane firm shift tune then send me the "last tune written" out of the tool. i'll get you something

Matt, I appreciate the help
attached you will find the tune, its called "Firm Shift" in the desc it says 93 octane aggressive shift
This tune gives me great power, very little throttle lag, but after 2 days I had some codes which I think were running lean codes if I remember correctly, I had some issues when the AC is turned on with it idling a little erratically and surging a little when i roll up to a stop sign without pressing the gas.
I noticed when I test drove it right now that it idled at 750 very firmly when i started it. Then I drove it to the mailbox and turned it off. When I turned it back on the idle dropped down to 500, and then idled just a little erratic with AC turned on.
Thanks for the help

Re: Custom Tune Request
Just a little more data that may be helpful:
throwing codes with that tune- System too lean bank 1, system too lean bank 2, and OBD
Car runs great except when I 1st start it, had engine surge in parking lot at work after starting it and it acts like im pressing the gas when i'm NOT. It surged maybe 5 times and then ran fine for the rest of the day. AC not on, so they engine revving is not associated with the AC being on necessarily. Engine revving always seems to happen when im coasting at very low speed 5-20 mph.

Re: Custom Tune Request
here you go.. now there is TWO different c&L kits. this file i attached is for there street kit with is there metal tube kit. if you have their "race" kit with is the bit plastic one then let me know and i have to make a differnt but i am 90% you have the street as if you had the race kit it would barely run with the tune you sent me.

Re: Custom Tune Request
Ok i've been running the tune for a week. Seems to be having issues whenever AC is turned on. Poor throttle response. Idle fluctuates oddly at times.
Also I'm getting the following error codes:
P506 Idle air control system RPM lower then expected
P1000 OBD system
thanks
