Silverado w/ 4L60E - Reducing TM by about 50%

I am waiting to reduce the TM on my truck by about 50%. My truck has the 4L60E.

I know on the 6-speeds it's either ON or OFF. With the 4-speed, is there a percentage within the programmer or is it a series of negative and positive numbers. What do I need to set it at to reduce TM by about half? Right now I just have AFM turned off and want to reduce TM a little. What kind of effect will that have on the drivability? I don't run the truck hard either but would like a little more responsiveness.

For the canned 87-Octane tune, what parameters are adjusted? Is TM fully removed, 50%, 75%, etc?

For my truck (2008 Silverado 5.3L w/ 4L60E) is there TM on both the motor and transmission or just the transmission?

Just to clarify, I'm currently running the Modified Stock tune only with AFM off. I want to keep running the Modified Stock tune with AFM off but also reduce the TM. I'm not looking to load the 87 Canned Tune at the moment.
