2015 PCM/Tune Questions

I have been looking into this for awhile now for my 2015 SRT Challenger but i just have some questions..
Usually tunes change the shift points.. what does the tune do for the Eco / Street / Sport / Track shift points?
Why is the mileage needed when ordering a new PCM?
Also about 2 months ago now i mentioned that the Dyno sheets posted on the site didnt make sense.. it had the 5.7L making more power than the 6.4L ... it was since removed but no new Dyno sheet has been reposted? Is there a new 6.4L dyno that can be seen?

there is no shift point control currently as the TCM for th 8 speed is not yet supported.

All of the modes still function the same way they do now, but with more power from the tune

Mileage is there to program the pcm to be happy with the vehicle, odometer does not chnage.

Brings me to another question, if i swap the stock PCM in a week before my service.. and then another week goes by after service is complete because lets say i don have time to install the diablosports PCM.. will it upset the car because it will be 2 weeks of driving and the mileage changed?
How exactly does the mileage input upset the car if you were not able to enter in the mileage to the diablosports PCM

I am curious to the answer on the mileage question as well. I was wondering if you replaced factory PCM back in to the car if mileage would return to last mileage when factory PCM was in vehicle.

Ok so I happen to read this morning the post and I'll help you guys out a bit. The mileage is only needed because of the handshake that the PCM needs to do with the vehicle. After that the mileage does not matter it is stored in the BCM and no longer the Pcm. I work directly at a Chrysler dealership and have had people have no issues with swapping in and out the MODIFIED PCM. I would also let you know that what really catches the techs eye is that there's no check engine lights in the computer like a check engine code so they might ask if you had it reset lately. I recommend saying yes. I have had mine now sense last year when they first became available on the market for my 2015 Scat Pack. I have had no issues even with the modified PCM in for service. I would recommend going back to the default tune or Stock tune before you go in for service. We have had where the PCM does not even look like it was opened because Diablo did such a good job and doing these, and the only way somebody would know is if they knew exactly what they were looking at each time.the car knows both PCMS now and will have no issuse with either from this point forward. You can drive 10 miles to 10,000 it will not effect it at all. Sorry for the long post guys I figured I would help out a little bit this way everybody understands exactly how this works.

No, the mileage simply needs to be close...not exact.

The mileage needs to be close in a 500 mile range what I did was ordered ahead meaning 2100 miles when I only had 1800 miles. It is easy that way and you will be close no mater what.

How close is close?

I ordered my modified PCM through Speedlogix and provided the vehicle mileage (which is recorded in KM on my car) at the time - but it was about 6 weeks or so before Diablosport supplied the PCM to Speedlogix, who then shipped it to me (I'm in Saudi Arabia) so my vehicle now has several thousand more KM on it then at the time I ordered the PCM.

Should I expect to have issues using this PCM?
If so, does the PCM need to be returned to Diablosport to be sorted?

^ He's right! I plugged in the new ECU and it worked fine with no problems


(Now I just need to work out why the TPS reading and throttle blade are way off....)
