this is fixed, save the attached update to your i2 drive, let the tool import it then go tune the truck, and it will work like it should.

Thanks

Mike, I too have a '15 F150 3.5 Eco. Was that fix included in available updates since then. I checked today for updates but didn't find any. I purchased my I2 on 12/13.

if its up to date you are good, you can post the info.xml file from the i2 drive if you'd like me to confirm.

I have a 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum 3.5L Ecoboost. Will the i2 work on my Explorer?

Just got my I2 and loaded the 87 Octane tune in my 2015 2.7L f150 and in addition to dead pedal - all of the controls on the steering wheel quit (cruise, radio, information display) the wipers only work on high and no turn signal. I did a restore and only the dead pedal was resolved. Waiting for support response. I've had good luck with Diablosport tuners in the past but right now - I'm not happy!

let the truck sit for about 45 minutes after running the restore - it appears that all functions are back now. Not really inclined to try again - I don't trust it now.

All is good now.... I spoke to Tech support on the phone and was told that there is a glitch in the "Easy" tune load so just to do it from the "Advanced" menu. It loaded smoothly and the truck runs great. You might want to steer people away from the "Easy" Tune loading menu until the glitch is worked out.

Now that the tune is loaded cleanly - the throttle response is much better and transmission shifts quicker and more firmly on the 87 octane profile... I won't know about the fuel economy until the novelty wears off a little and I start driving normally again... well worth the cost of the i2.

I've got a question for the team. Is it ok to run the 87 tune you gave me on 91 octane? Its been working great for the last 3 or 4 months and I thought I would try the 91 tune so I filled it with 91 and loaded the 91 tune and the dead pedal was back. I updated it before I installed the tune. But the 87 tune ROCKS. Very happy with it and thank you guys for that. My truck has hancook tires and they hookup great. Certain surfaces I can almost unload the front shocks at launch with the traction control. Makes me feel like a 19 year old kid in a 70 roadrunner all over
again. LOL
