Same here. I'm completely stock. When I flashed back to stock in order to upgrade from r18 to r19/20 I started seeing it, along with codes starting with U, like U1101 or something like that. r20 wouldn't work (early 05) so I went back to r19. Codes p0138 and p0158 were on anytime the rear o2 heaters were on. Now I am on 9r01 and I am still getting the code as long as the rear o2s are on.

Whether I have the predator code in there or not, I can't clear the codes, unless I shut off the rear o2s.

Thanks,
Shane

Ever think maybe they aren't false codes and your O2s are bad?

Exactly, with 9r01, select to turn off the rear o2s, and you're all set. If you dont turn them off, you will get codes....

So wait, with 9R01 you can't have the rear O2s active? I hope thats not right, because I want all my emissions equipment functioning properly and as designed.

My CEL was never ON when the o2 sensors were off. So what was the change in this release. It is possible that my rear o2s are bad, though it seems strange that they were fine until I got the predator. It seems like a false code to me, but maybe shutting them off fouled them???

Like Mike Levy said, I had my o2s off for a little while, but now I have decided I want them on. But I can't without having the CEL on.

I decided to go back t stock tune because we had far too much snow on the ground around the farm for the reduced Torque Management and ESP on my AWD... it was friggin' scary so I decided to go back to stock and wait until the weather gets better. Shortly after flashing back to stock P0158 popped up.... I cleared it with my DashHawk and it hasn't come back yet.

Wow, you guys are losing me here....
If you do not turn the rear O2s off, they are on.
If you turn them off, there should be no codes....as long as you are on 9r01.

from what I am reading it seems they are saying that with a completely stock vehicle running 9r01 seems to be throwing codes unless they use the predator to turn off the rear o2's.

That's the jist of what I am getting. What are the ramifications of turning off the rear o2's? emissions increase?

probably not, if the predator is just telling the pcm that everything is fine and your car is in proper operating condition it hould not make a differance.

Like my other post states. Running 9r02 now and turn the rear O2's OFF. Still getting P0158... how is that possible?
