Data base or firmware

i have a intune I2010 DCX for my 2013 Ram 1500 and i want to know if should try to update the Data base or Firmware.....did a update before install my first tune.

if you run the updater program it will update anything that needs to be updated.

thanks for the response, but i have already solved that problem and moved on to my next question can you turn certain parameter off and on without reflashing a tune. i need to know if you can turn the MDS system on or off in quick adjust,
