Issues after update

Post by GHOSTCHARG3R »

Returned car to original back up. Plugged into computer and opened DS Downloader. DS Downloader began to auto update. Once finished, I uploaded my custom tune and original backup. Took the tool to the vehicle and began tuning process. tune finished and I selected modify tune to change tire size and vehicle speed limiter. Installed tune and I was prompted to start the vehicle. The vehicle would not start....

Now when I select last tune written the tool says it is unmarried and the custom tune selection from the performance page is gone. Returned back to computer to upload the custom tune and original back up to tool again.

Returned to the vehicle and started the tuning process again. (-30) error received - original back up already restored or was never saved and would not let me tune.

Also, I'm getting "New Registry" messages I've never seen before.

I'm dead in the water as my vehicle cannot run without the custom tune. Will call tech support Monday but any online support in the meantime would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Update: Seems like the stock tune is stuck on the PCM and the tool will not allow me to upload my custom tune or save a back up. It still states that the tool is not married to the vehicle and new registry.

Forced calibration update did not fix the issue so the tool was required to be sent in for service.

Tool shipped via UPS next day air 5/9 and arrived 5/10 at 8:48am.

Currently awaiting next steps.

So what's the plan when I receive my Trinity back?

Should I just fire it up in the vehicle and call you guys?
Do I need to update it prior or load my custom tune?

Please let me know.
