the current release fixes this, please post the info.xml file from the i2 drive.

I am also having.the same problem. 2016 Silverado 1500 5.3 8 speed. I have the unit updated, but this still happens. What should I do.

did you use the easy tune menu to disable the speed limiter when you loaded the tune?
