2008 avalanche

I have a 2008 avalanche with a 5.3. I just put a cam motion cam in it and did a dod delete. It's running good,but I can't tell any power difference in it. I've tried the diablo tune and the 87octane. I know to modify the dod to off. So no check engine light of anything. I can not do a burnout, and doesn't really seem to have any more pep. So other than the dod no difference. What should I do?

most cam swaps move the powerband up, which doesnt help make burnouts...and ideally they will require custom tuning to properly dial them in and take advantage of the airflow changes.

This is a bottom end cam. Suppose to give me more low end power.
