Shift Firmness Not In Menu

Post by rossko85 »

I can see where the shift points are, but I can't adjust shift firmness through tq mngt values...Anyone advise?

I am running the inTune on a 2013 Dodge Durango R/T 5.7l

This is the portion I don't have that is in questions that was posted as a guide by one of the admins - mikel back in 2012

I WANT THESE! LOL

Shift Firmness
Reduces torque management between shifts for a firmer shift , N/A on SRT8 vehicles.
Autostick auto upshift
Enable/Disable automatic upshift when in manual autostick mode, ie. raise your rev limits and you can shift manually at any rpm without the vehicle automatically upshifting (as it would do stock).(N/A on Jeep)

So again, wondering why I don't have them? Is it because I own a durango and it is modeled after a jeep?? Not sure..

Thx all!
:D

there is no firmness setting for these applications. The autostick settings you refer to are for early cars, does not apply to any trucks.

Thanks

Thx Mike!

Can we get some?!?! LOL I hate how the Auto Stick doesn't up shift when you push the stick over; it waits to shift when it wants to. I get great response in down shift, but upshifting in manual mode just doesnt respond. I also want to adjust my firmness on the shift points. I would think this would be beneficial to a truck, especially for a towing tune?

I can imagine it is a balance of providing just enough on the "can tuners" vs. getting people to buy into the CMR stuff?

So, what do I need to do to request the ability in an update to change the shift firmness and the stick settings? Or can I? LOL

Thank you again!
