When I installed the Predator today in the car, I went through the steps (backing up the factory to the predator) and then programmed the 91 Octane tune right after.
So tonight when I did the "Get Tune" and saved the file to disk (961KB) -- I'm not sure what tune that is? The Factory or the 91 Octane?
Is there a way to get the factory tune off the Predator without going back out the car, restoring the factory tune, going back to the computer and downloading it and then going back to the car and redo the 91 Octane tune again?
Btw, going into the Predators custom tune menu (on the device) and selecting export Original Backup doesn't work. I tried doing the export on the device and then clicking "get tune" (so the pc knew to listen for the file but that didn't work).
Of course, I could be completely wrong about this and the backup file I got from "get tune" was the factory original. However, the documentation isn't terribly clear.
The model # is u7145 (car is a 2008 Mustang GT/CS).
One last question - is there a way to edit these files on the PC? Under the advanced tuning screen - clicking on "edit tune" with a file selected doesn't do anything.
Thanks.

p.s. SOP was quite noticable. The car pulls a lot stronger now across the power band.
