octane
How do I get the CAI 93 octane tune for the 2007 hemi R/T? They only sell 87,89 & 93 octane where I am, not 91!!!
RE: octane
well if they sell 93 octane you have no problem. your predator should have come with a 93 CAI tune in it.

What are the negatives of running the 91CAI tune on 89 octane fuel? What if the 89 was rumored to be good quality?

I have version V.8r14, the selections listed under DiabloTunes are;
performance, perf cai, perf 91 oct, perf cai 91 oct, modify stoc tune & original backup. Does that mean the perf cai tune is for 93 octane???

Thanx Mike!! I am glad I don't need an update, I got over 50+ hp from the cai 91oct tune and thats with wheelspin out the a**!! I hope this 93 tune gives a nicer bump in hp gains!. Keep up the good work.
Thanx again guys

With a Cold Air Intake, the timing can be advanced just a wee bit more before detination occurs because of the slightly cooler and more free flowing air from a CAI. As far as I know, not much else is different between 93 and 93CAI but MikeL or Johan can add/correct me if I am wrongantone302 wrote:i am going from 89performance tune to 93, my question is what is the difference from the 93 performance and the 93 cai perf tune and wich one should i use. ?

The CAI tunes have the same timing as the non cai tunes, they just have more fuel as the cai leans the cars out quite a bit.
The 3.5L tunes do not have a CAI tune due to the fact that the CAI did not lean them out at all.

93 octane
I'm going to Carlisle Pennsylvania from Wisconsin. I have the 93 octane
Tune on the Charger SRT,would a tank or 2 of 91 octane hurt if I can't fine
93 oct at every station. Or would I be better off put the tune back to 91
octane
Thanks Moparnettie

RE: 93 octane
With the SRTs proneness to KR, I'd definetly put the 91 tune on the car if you don't know if 93 will be available.
